The Adrian College Bulldog had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over the Michigan University of Wolverines.

Adrian College got the win on the strength of a great game by Nichole Laflamme, who had one goal and two assists. Laflamme scored 14:41 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Adrian College.

The Bulldog forced Wolverines' goaltenders to work all game long, totaling 33 shots and forcing 28 saves. Bailey Hamill made 11 stops and Julia Chenoweth made 17.

Adrian College also had goals scored by Alicia Tait, Jessica Rushing, Nicole Paradis, and Morgan Praska, who scored one goal each. In addition, Adrian College received assists from Jessica Fabbro and Kaillie Hardy, who contributed one each.

Michigan University of stifled Adrian College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Wolverines were led by Erin Gregoire, who registered one goal. Gregoire scored 19:29 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Adrian College. Karoline Inman picked up the assist. Michigan University of also got a goal from Caroline Hurd as well. Other players who recorded assists for Michigan University of were Mercedes Reyes, Ania Dow, and Leah Krieger, who each chipped in one.

Ellyn Stanton rejected 18 shots on goal for the Bulldog. Adrian College incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Michigan University of incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
