Ryan Edgar scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) held off the challenges of Thunder AAA Hockey in a tough 3-1 win.

A goal 8:37 into the first period by Edgar proved to be the game winner, and powered St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) to the victory. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) had taken the advantage when Thunder AAA Hockey's IAN CURRIE got sent off for elbowing. Zane OBryan picked up the assist.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 22 penalty minutes.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) was sparked by Jared Preete, who registered one goal and one assist. Preete scored short handed 17:13 into the second period to make the score 2-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM). St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) found itself down a man on Patrick Pence's delay of game. OBryan assisted on the tally.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey to score on any of its seven power plays.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got a goal from Trevor Wilhelm as well.

Thunder AAA Hockey could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.
