Midland University downs W2 Minot State University in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Midland University's Malia Shimabukuro scored 3:52 into overtime to beat W2 Minot State University, 2-1 (OT).

Midland University's Tessa Singleton was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 41 saves and let only one puck past him. Singleton certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.05 entering the contest.

Midland University was led by Shimabukuro, who grabbed one goal.

Midland University also got points from Lauren Netz, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Midland University received assists from Jessica Sandahl and Isabelle Uhl Chmiel, who contributed one each.

Midland University was unable to stop W2 Minot State University from sending pucks towards the net, and W2 Minot State University eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

W2 Minot State University was led by Angela Lothspeich, who scored the team's only goal. Lothspeich scored short handed 7:27 into the third period to make the score 1-1.
