Midland University survived a determined comeback attempt by W2 Minot State University on the way to a 3-2 win.

Midland University made the score 3-1 on a goal by Isabelle Uhl Chmiel at 3:42 in the third period, and W2 Minot State University got as close as 3-2 when Tylar Holland scored 15:19 into the third period.

Midland University stifled W2 Minot State University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Midland University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.
