Starzi nets hat trick, leads Garnet Valley to 14-4 win over Radnor

Anthony Starzi netted a hat trick to lead Garnet Valley over Radnor, 14-4.

Starzi got on the scoresheet 12:33 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:31 into the third and at 12:50 into the third.

Garnet Valley forced Radnor goalie Martin Connor to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots. Garnet Valley bested its season scoring average. This season, Garnet Valley averages 5.3 goals per contest. Garnet Valley cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on three chances. Garnet Valley got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Garnet Valley additionally got points from Kyle Washkalavitch, who also grabbed two goals and three assists, Thomas Schenk, who also registered three goals and one assist, Dominic Starzi, who also had three goals and one assist, and Gannon Stuart, who also racked up two goals and four assists. Garnet Valley also got a goal from Marc Teitelbaum as well. In addition, Garnet Valley received assists from Benjamin Murphy, who had one and Matthew Wood and Gregory Schenk, who contributed two each.

Garnet Valley's Lee Wheeler stopped 24 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Garnet Valley incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Connor rejected 30 shots on goal for Radnor. Radnor incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
