La Salle survives Wyoming Seminary comeback, wins 3-1

Wyoming Seminary tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but La Salle would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1.

A goal by Jack McDonough put La Salle up 3-0 in the second period, but Wyoming Seminary pulled to within two on Default Skater's tally 10:02 into the third period.

La Salle was led by goalie Harrison Feeney, who finished with 31 saves while allowing one goal. Feeney managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.88 prior to the game.

La Salle forced Wyoming Seminary goalie Default Goalie to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

La Salle was helped by Austin Master, who finished with one goal. Master scored on the power play 14:04 into the second period to make the score 2-0 La Salle. David Mester provided the assist. La Salle also got points from Taylor Smith, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for La Salle came via Joseph Mancuso, Ryan Baker, and Shawn Ryan, who contributed one each.

La Salle was unable to stop Wyoming Seminary from sending pucks towards the net, and Wyoming Seminary eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

La Salle ended with no penalties and went 1-for-0 on the power play. Default Goalie made 30 saves for Wyoming Seminary on 33 shots. Wyoming Seminary avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays.
