Early goals doom Great Valley, falls to Downingtown East, 9-0

Great Valley fell behind early, and Downingtown East kept piling on the points on the way to a 9-0 victory.

Downingtown East got the win thanks to a great game by Harrison Layne, who had one goal and three assists. Layne scored 7:28 into the third period to make the score 8-0 Downingtown East. Max McAllister provided the assist.

Downingtown East's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Great Valley power plays. Downingtown East's offense rang up 47 shots on Great Valley's net.
