La Salle blows out DMA, 11-1

La Salle had a seven-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 11-1 win over DMA.

Ethan Lamond was all over the ice for La Salle, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Lamond scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 La Salle. La Salle had gotten the advantage when DMA's Derek Golembrosky was sent off for slashing. Sean Clifton picked up the assist. Lamond's next tally on the power play made the score 10-1 La Salle with 14:08 left in the third period. Shawn Ryan assisted on the tally.

La Salle forced DMA goalie Julia Emerich to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. La Salle found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. La Salle averages 4.0 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals.

La Salle also got points from Jeffrey Gratz, who also registered two goals and one assist, Taylor Smith, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jack McDonough, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, and Austin Master, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Others who scored for La Salle included John McCuen, Matthew Clark, and Henry Kaechelin, who each put in one. More assists for La Salle came via Michael DalFarra, Joseph Mancuso, Ryan Baker, Tyler Pohlig, Matthew Echelmeier, and Coty Thomas, who each chipped in one.

DMA was held below its usual level of production. DMA puts an average of 5.8 pucks into the net per game. DMA's offense was handcuffed by La Salle's defensive play, and DMA managed only seven shots on goal during the game.

Harrison Feeney made six saves for La Salle on seven shots. La Salle incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Emerich recorded 30 saves for DMA. DMA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
