Midland University survived a determined comeback attempt by W2 Minot State University on the way to a 5-3 win.

Midland University took a 5-2 lead during the second period, only to have W2 Minot State University storm back on a Makayla Sandvold goal 15:04 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Midland University bested its season scoring average. Midland University averages 1.6 goal per game. The defensemen of Midland University were also effective in W2 Minot State University's zone, and came away with three goals.
