Midland University falls to W2 North Dakota State University after surprising comeback

W2 North Dakota State University climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Midland University, 3-2.

W2 North Dakota State University never led in the game until netting the game winner. W2 North Dakota State University was down 2-0 after a goal by Midland University's Traci Corcoran at 14:49 in the first period. W2 North Dakota State University knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Megan Ostrand at 16:36 in the first period. W2 North Dakota State University scored the game winner on the power play at 18:45 in the second period on a goal by Ostrand.

W2 North Dakota State University was led by Kelly Morris, who finished with one goal.

Midland University was unable to stop W2 North Dakota State University from sending pucks towards the net, and W2 North Dakota State University eventually piled up 53 shots on goal.
