Miami University downs Massachusetts University of, 6-2

Jessica Gould had one point to lead the Miami University RedHawks to a 6-2 victory over the Massachusetts University of Minutemen.

Miami University forced Minutemen's goaltenders to work between the pipes, racking up 37 shots and forcing 31 saves. Bethany welch made 29 stops and Samantha Baturin made two. The RedHawks outdid their season average for goals scored. Miami University averages 3.7 goals per game. The RedHawks cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances. The defensemen of Miami University were also effective in Massachusetts University of's zone, and came away with two goals.

Miami University also got points from Nicole Matthews, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Izzy Smith, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, and Kaley Mooney, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Miami University also had goals scored by Ireland Mooney and Katelyn Augustine, who each put in one. More assists for Miami University came via Becca Senden and Michaela Goguen, who each chipped in one.
