Lindenwood Univ - Belleville uses early goal to top Davenport University, 3-1

The Lindenwood Univ - Belleville Lynx beat the Davenport University Panthers, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Lindenwood Univ - Belleville took over the lead for good with a goal by Maddy Millar at 9:02 in the first period. The Lynx had gained a power play chance when Jennifer Deane was whistled for interference. Cailee Laporte picked up the assist.

Lindenwood Univ - Belleville's penalty kill excelled, as the Lynx gave up zero goals despite allowing 11 power plays.
