Adrian College's Paradis deadly on offense in 6-3 win against Michigan State University

Nicole Paradis was all over the ice for the Adrian College Bulldog, as he tallied two goals in Adrian College's 6-3 win over the Michigan State University Spartans.

Paradis' tallies came at 18:22 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Adrian College and 18:28 into the second to make the score 4-0 Adrian College.

Michigan State University's power play was ineffective against the Bulldog's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Adrian College forced the Spartans' goalies to work in net, firing 39 shots and forcing 33 saves. Hannah Johnson made 21 stops and Kathryn Hamer made 12. The Bulldog bested their season scoring average. Adrian College averages 3.6 goals per game.

Adrian College also got points from Kaillie Hardy, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Jessica Rushing, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Nichole Laflamme, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Adrian College also got a goal from Samantha Fortune as well. In addition, Adrian College received assists from Alicia Tait and Shannon Osland, who each chipped in one.

Michigan State University was helped by Kara Scaturro, who had one goal. Scaturro scored 1:05 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Adrian College. Alexis Smith provided the assist. Lyndsay Oden also scored for Michigan State University. More assists for Michigan State University came via Sydney Glanz, Ashley Astor, Kelsey Cross, Olivia Lord, and Breana Kraut, who contributed one each.

Alison Dungey made three saves before being replaced by Ellyn Stanton, who took the win and made 17 saves. The Bulldog incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Spartans incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
