The Adrian College Bulldog relied on the scoring touch of Kaillie Hardy, who netted two goals, to beat the Grand Valley State University Lakers, 3-0.

Hardy scored at 5:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Adrian College and again while 1:23 into the second to make the score 2-0 Adrian College.

Adrian College was boosted by Alison Dungey, who turned in a shutout with 25 saves. The solid play of Dungey will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.1.

The Bulldog excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Adrian College also got a goal from Nichole Laflamme as well. More assists for Adrian College came via Alicia Tait, who had one and Nicole Paradis, who had two.

Grand Valley State University did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Lakers put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game.

Adrian College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Grand Valley State University's Lauren Allen stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. The Lakers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
