Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) beats Victory Honda (MM) 6-4 as Messina gets hat trick

Dalton Messina lifted Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) to a 6-4 victory with a hat trick against Victory Honda (MM).

Messina's first goal came 12:54 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:06 into the second and at 10:31 into the second.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM)'s penalty kill excelled, as Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Victory Honda (MM) was unable to stop Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM)'s power play unit failed to produce, and was held to zero goals on 10 chances. Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 38 penalty minutes.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (MM) also got points from ZACH RESNICK, who also racked up one goal and two assists, ROBBIE HAMILL, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Austin Levering, who also tallied one goal and one assist.
