The CIHA White Midget AAA White and the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green were evenly matched throughout their contest, but CIHA White Midget AAA made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-4.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Braeden-Jay Wynne's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Pavel Gogolev and Wynne provided the spark for the White, combining for three goals and one assist. Gogolev had two goals and one assist and Wynne also added one goal.

CIHA White Midget AAA managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The White finished below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. CIHA White Midget AAA outdid its season average for goals scored. The White average 2.8 goals per game.

CIHA White Midget AAA also had goals scored by Etienne Agius-Pease and Seva Losev, who scored one goal each. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Jared Weber, who had two and Kyle Preston, Jeremy Vasquez, and Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who contributed one each.

CIHA Green Midget AAA was helped by Jacob Roberts, who tallied two goals. Roberts scored the first of his two goals at 12:01 into the first period to make the score 2-1 CIHA White Midget AAA. Roberts' next tally made the score 3-2 CIHA White Midget AAA with 16:12 left in the second period. CIHA Green Midget AAA also got points from Gregory Rogers, who also registered one goal and one assist and Guillaume Pelchat, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, CIHA Green Midget AAA received assists from Matthew Grouchy, who had one.

Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau made 25 saves for CIHA White Midget AAA on 29 shots. The White registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Ethan Hunt rejected 23 shots on goal for the Green. CIHA Green Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
