San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 7-5.

A goal by Seth Lind put Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) up 7-4 in the third period, but San Jose Jr. Sharks (MM) pulled to within two on Eric Pinsky's tally 9:37 into the third period.
