Grand Valley State University uses big second period to beat Michigan State University, 6-1

The Michigan State University Spartans was within striking distance after one period, but the Grand Valley State University Lakers put the pedal down in the second en route to a 6-1 victory.

Michigan State University was stymied by Grand Valley State University's netminder Lauren Allen, who stopped 27 shots during the victory.
