M2 Liberty University had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over M2 Ohio University.

M2 Liberty University got the win with help from a great game by Christian Garland, who had two goals and two assists. Garland scored the first of his two goals at 4:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Liberty University. Ryan Kerr provided the assist. Garland's next tally made the score 5-2 M2 Liberty University with 19:46 left in the third period.
