The Grand Valley State University Lakers relied on the scoring touch of Tea Greca, who netted two goals, to beat the Davenport University Panthers, 3-0.

Greca scored on the power play at 17:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Grand Valley State University and again while 2:06 into the second to make the score 2-0 Grand Valley State University.

Grand Valley State University stifled Davenport University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Katie Danto also scored for Grand Valley State University. Other players who recorded assists for Grand Valley State University were Corey Robison, Sally Hoerr, Brelin Tasker, Kendra Myers, and Stacey Mathieu, who contributed one each.
