Curlee's goals lift W1 Davenport University to 5-2 victory over W1 Midland University

The W1 Davenport University Panthers relied on the scoring touch of Courtney Curlee, who netted two goals, to beat W1 Midland University, 5-2.

Curlee's tallies came at 41 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 W1 Davenport University and 5:19 into the second to make the score 3-1 W1 Davenport University.

W1 Davenport University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow W1 Midland University to score on any of its four power plays. The Panthers kept W1 Midland University's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tessa Singleton made 59 saves on 64 shots.

W1 Davenport University additionally got points from Lexie Boydston, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Ashley Reese also scored for W1 Davenport University. More assists for W1 Davenport University came via Laken Kunz, who had two.
