The Kemptville Midget AAA 73s and the CIHA White Midget AAA White were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Kemptville Midget AAA made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

The 73s gained the winning advantage on a goal by Mike Armstrong 4:05 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Devin Saumur was all over the ice for Kemptville Midget AAA, as he registered two goals in the win. Saumur scored at 5:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville Midget AAA and again while 18:51 into the third to make the score 4-2 Kemptville Midget AAA.

The 73s did not waste many scoring chances, needing only four shots to achieve their goal tally.

Kemptville Midget AAA also got a goal from Dean Bucciarelli as well. In addition, Kemptville Midget AAA received assists from Brady Elder, who had two and Owen Scott and Joel Holtrop, who each chipped in one.

CIHA White Midget AAA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

The White were helped by Jeremy Vasquez, who tallied one goal. Vasquez scored 2:21 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Kenshin Hayashi provided the assist. Seva Losev also scored for CIHA White Midget AAA. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who had one.

Kemptville Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. CIHA White Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
