The Cumberland Midget AAA Grads' TJ Price scored 4:34 into overtime to beat the Kanata Midget AAA Lasers, 3-2 (OT).

Cumberland Midget AAA was paced by Price, who had one goal.

The Grads kept Kanata Midget AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 37 saves on 40 shots.

Others who scored for Cumberland Midget AAA included Alex Wall and Alex Robert, who each put in one. In addition, Cumberland Midget AAA received assists from Noah Johnston and Tommy Stevenson, who each chipped in one and Mathieu Plante and Roman Cannell, who contributed two each.

The Lasers were helped by Daniel McIntyre, who tallied one goal. McIntyre scored on the power play 5:52 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Kanata Midget AAA. A head contact penalty on Robert had put Kanata Midget AAA on the power play. Kyle Lefebvre picked up the assist. Kanata Midget AAA also got a goal from David Silye as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kanata Midget AAA were Cade Townend, who had one.

Seth Carter rejected 28 shots on goal for Cumberland Midget AAA. The Grads incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Lasers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
