Ryan Green was superb between the pipes for the Brockville Midget AAA Braves, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Hawkesbury Midget AAA Hawks.

Brockville Midget AAA's penalty kill excelled, as the Braves gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Brockville Midget AAA was led by Gary Hicks, who registered one goal. Hicks scored 13:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brockville Midget AAA. Serron Noel assisted on the tally.

The Braves stifled Hawkesbury Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brockville Midget AAA's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Braves allow 2.8 goals per game. The Hawks were unable to stop Brockville Midget AAA from sending pucks towards the net, and the Braves eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
