Behind a great game by Paul Larabie, who had two goals, the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders defeated the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears, 2-1. Larabie scored at 14:56 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 3:03 into the third to make the score 2-1 Nepean Midget AAA.In addition, Nepean Midget AAA received assists from Connor Lacey, who had two and JJ Boucher and Nicholas Domitrovic, who contributed one each. Smiths Falls Midget AAA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Nepean Midget AAA's defense shut down the Bears' forwards for much of the game, and Smiths Falls Midget AAA got off only 10 shots during the contest. The Bears were led by Blake Kettyle, who scored the team's only goal. Kettyle scored 13:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Smiths Falls Midget AAA. Matthew Bidin provided the assist. Anand Oberoi made nine saves for the Raiders on 10 shots. Alex Zoutis rejected 19 shots on goal for Smiths Falls Midget AAA. The Bears incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
