The Cumberland Midget AAA Grads' Alex Robert had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 7-2 win over the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears.

Robert beat Kyle Renaud with a shot 14:45 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Cumberland Midget AAA. Zakary Rodrigue picked up the assist. Robert dished an assist on Roman Cannell's goal that made the score 1-0 Cumberland Midget AAA at 39 seconds into the first period. He added another helper on Rodrigue's goal that made the score 6-2 Cumberland Midget AAA at 6:45 into the third period.

Cumberland Midget AAA forced Smiths Falls Midget AAA's goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, racking up 34 shots and forcing 27 saves. Renaud made 20 stops and Alex Zoutis made seven. The Grads bested their season scoring average. Cumberland Midget AAA averages 3.9 goals per game.

Cumberland Midget AAA also got points from Rodrigue, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Mathieu Plante, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Tommy Stevenson, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Cannell, who also had one goal and one assist. Cumberland Midget AAA also got a goal from Francois Drouin as well. More assists for Cumberland Midget AAA came via Daniel Mellon, Noah Johnston, Adam Goodfellow, Liam Peyton, and Wil Murray, who each chipped in one.

The Bears were helped by Connor Drost, who racked up one goal. Drost scored 9:43 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Blake Kettyle assisted on the tally. Dylan McMahon also scored for Smiths Falls Midget AAA. In addition, Smiths Falls Midget AAA received assists from Sebastien Semerdjiev and Mackenzie Mercier, who contributed one each.

Seth Carter recorded 21 saves for the Grads. Cumberland Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Smiths Falls Midget AAA incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
