The Kemptville Midget AAA 73s' John Beaton scored 10 seconds into overtime to beat the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders, 3-2 (OT).

Kemptville Midget AAA was led by Beaton, who racked up one goal and one assist.

The 73s forced Nepean Midget AAA goalie Anand Oberoi to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

Kemptville Midget AAA additionally got points from Joel Holtrop, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Patrick Yates also scored for Kemptville Midget AAA. More assists for Kemptville Midget AAA came via Cole Dennison, Jordan Currie, and Devin Saumur, who each chipped in one.

The Raiders were helped by Matt Arial, who tallied one goal. Arial scored 11:32 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Kyle Kuehni picked up the assist. Nepean Midget AAA also got a goal from Paul Larabie as well. In addition, Nepean Midget AAA received assists from Connor Lacey, Geoff Dempster, and Ryan Kaufman, who contributed one each.

Nick Bond made 28 saves for Kemptville Midget AAA on 30 shots. The 73s incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Oberoi rejected 40 shots on goal for Nepean Midget AAA. The Raiders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
