Ottawa Midget AAA stifles Brockville Midget AAA's comeback, gains 3-1 victory

The Brockville Midget AAA Braves almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Ottawa Midget AAA Senators managed to pull out a 3-1 win in the end.

Ottawa Midget AAA led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Senators' Noah Haymes scored at 10:21 in the second period to put Ottawa Midget AAA up 3-0.

The Senators were led by goalie Cedrick Andree, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Andree certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.0 entering the contest.

Ottawa Midget AAA was led by Daniel Lambert, who had one goal. Lambert scored 9:15 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Ottawa Midget AAA. Griffin McGregor assisted on the tally.

Brockville Midget AAA was unable to stop the Senators from sending pucks towards the net, and Ottawa Midget AAA eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Ottawa Midget AAA also got a goal from Jacob Lamont as well. More assists for Ottawa Midget AAA came via Adrien Bisson, Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Merrick Rippon, and Nicholas Raponi de Roia, who contributed one each.

The Braves stifled the Senators' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Brockville Midget AAA was led by Harrison Mayotte, who scored the team's only goal. Mayotte scored on the power play 14:11 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Ottawa Midget AAA. The Braves had gotten the advantage when Ottawa Midget AAA's Wade Brennan was sent off for hit to the head. Serron Noel picked up the assist.

The Senators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kyle Herbison rejected 29 shots on goal for Brockville Midget AAA. The Braves incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
