The Kanata Midget AAA Lasers' Bennett Stockdale scored 2:47 into overtime to beat the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians, 2-1 (OT).

Kanata Midget AAA was led by Stockdale, who finished with one goal.

The Lasers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Carleton Place Midget AAA power plays.

Kanata Midget AAA also got a goal from Luca Nocita as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kanata Midget AAA were David Silye, Cade Townend, Justin Palmer, and Kyle Lefebvre, who each chipped in one.
