Behind a great game by Nikita Lopatin, who had two goals and three assists, the OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16 defeated the CIHA White Midget AAA White, 8-5.

OHA U17 Midget AAA forced CIHA White Midget AAA's goaltenders to work between the pipes, racking up 41 shots and forcing 33 saves. Jacob Lavergne made 24 stops and Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau made nine. The OHA U16 surpassed their usual scoring output this season. OHA U17 Midget AAA averages 2.4 goals per game.

OHA U17 Midget AAA also got points from Matthew Briggs, who also registered one goal and one assist, Nicholas Abbott, who also racked up three goals and one assist, and Curtis Egert, who also had one goal and one assist. OHA U17 Midget AAA also got a goal from Andre Guldbrandsen as well. More assists for OHA U17 Midget AAA came via Yanick Leblanc, who had two and Tanner Brown, Thomas Harper, Nash McLean, and Tim Kobler, who contributed one each.

The White's goal total was higher than their season average. This season, CIHA White Midget AAA averages 2.8 goals per contest.

The White were helped by Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who finished with two goals and one assist. Der-Arguchintsev scored the first of his two goals at 1:49 into the second period to make the score 4-2 OHA U17 Midget AAA. Pavel Gogolev picked up the assist. Der-Arguchintsev's next tally made the score 4-3 OHA U17 Midget AAA with 10:58 left in the second period. Gogolev provided the assist. CIHA White Midget AAA additionally got points from Seva Losev, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Gogolev, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Jeremy Vasquez also scored for CIHA White Midget AAA. In addition, CIHA White Midget AAA received assists from Jonathan Toope, Kyle Preston, Kenshin Hayashi, Braeden-Jay Wynne, and Hisham Barayan, who each chipped in one.

Tyler Caseley recorded 22 saves for the OHA U16. OHA U17 Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. CIHA White Midget AAA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
