The Ottawa Midget AAA Senators rallied from two goals down to secure a 3-2 win over the OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16.

Ottawa Midget AAA never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Senators fell behind 2-0 after a goal by OHA U17 Midget AAA's Tim Kobler at 6:21 in the first period. Ottawa Midget AAA knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Tyler Villeneuve at 5:47 in the second period. The Senators netted the game winner on the power play at 12:48 in the third period on a goal by Villeneuve.

Ottawa Midget AAA was sparked by Tyler Newell, who had one goal and one assist.

The Senators' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three OHA U17 Midget AAA power plays.

Merrick Rippon also scored for Ottawa Midget AAA. More assists for Ottawa Midget AAA came via Marcus Stepto, who had two and Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Griffin McGregor, and Cameron Scrivens, who each chipped in one.

OHA U17 Midget AAA also got a goal from Thomas Callaghan as well. In addition, OHA U17 Midget AAA received assists from Andre Guldbrandsen, who had two.

Ottawa Midget AAA took out Nicolas Rousseau after he had made 17 saves and installed Cedrick Andree in goal, where he finished with 11 saves and the win. The Senators incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dillon Lamarche made 25 saves for the OHA U16 on 28 shots. OHA U17 Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
