The CIHA Green Midget AAA Green gutted out a close 3-2 win against the OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16.

CIHA Green Midget AAA gained the winning advantage on a goal by Bryson Michel 14:56 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Green were sparked by Michel, who had one goal and one assist.

CIHA Green Midget AAA struggled on the penalty kill, allowing OHA U17 Midget AAA to score two power play goals on three chances.

CIHA Green Midget AAA also had goals scored by James Hounsome and Linden Spencer, who scored one goal each. In addition, CIHA Green Midget AAA received assists from Matthew Grouchy, who had two and Trevor Finch, Marc-Andre Lecouffe, and Cole Burton, who contributed one each.

The OHA U16 were helped by Shane Ford, who racked up one goal. Ford scored on the power play 8:41 into the third period to make the score 2-2.
