Liam Peyton gave the Cumberland Midget AAA Grads the lead in the first period, and the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1.

Roman Cannell had a great game for the Grads, netting two goals. Cannell's tallies came on the power play at 12 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0 Cumberland Midget AAA and on the power play 12:05 into the second to make the score 3-1 Cumberland Midget AAA.

More assists for Cumberland Midget AAA came via TJ Price, who had two and Zakary Rodrigue and Alex Robert, who each chipped in one.

CIHA Green Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Green were led by Bryson Michel, who scored the team's only goal. Michel scored on the power play 2:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Cumberland Midget AAA. CIHA Green Midget AAA had gotten the advantage when Cumberland Midget AAA's Francois Drouin was sent off for boarding. Matthew Grouchy provided the assist.

Kai Edmonds made 20 saves for the Grads on 21 shots. Cumberland Midget AAA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Green's Zachary Kott stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. CIHA Green Midget AAA registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
