The Kanata Midget AAA Lasers took the lead against the CIHA White Midget AAA White in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 3-1 victory.

The Lasers were paced by McIntyre, who registered one goal and one assist. McIntyre scored 1:27 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Kanata Midget AAA. Ross Campbell picked up the assist.

Kanata Midget AAA kept CIHA White Midget AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau made 30 saves on 33 shots.

Felix Tourigny also scored for Kanata Midget AAA. Other players who recorded assists for Kanata Midget AAA were Bennett Stockdale, Tyler Orban, Mack Miller, and Ty Gauthier, who contributed one each.

The White put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Lasers to score on any of their three power plays.

CIHA White Midget AAA was led by Etienne Agius-Pease, who scored the team's only goal. Agius-Pease scored 11:44 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Kanata Midget AAA. Pavel Gogolev assisted on the tally.

Jean-Philippe Tourigny rejected 18 shots on goal for Kanata Midget AAA. The Lasers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The White incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
