Zakary Rodrigue had two goals to lead the Cumberland Midget AAA Grads to a 4-1 victory over the Gloucester Midget AAA Rangers.

Gloucester Midget AAA was stymied by Cumberland Midget AAA's netminder Kai Edmonds, who stopped 27 shots during the victory. Edmonds managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.0 prior to the game.

The Grads put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rangers to score on any of their six power plays. Cumberland Midget AAA forced Gloucester Midget AAA goalie Jean-Sebastien Gratton to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Others who scored for Cumberland Midget AAA included Francois Drouin and Liam Peyton, who each put in one. In addition, Cumberland Midget AAA received assists from Tristan Francis, Mathieu Plante, Noah Johnston, Tommy Stevenson, Roman Cannell, Alex Robert, and Wil Murray, who contributed one each.

The Rangers found themselves short handed often, totaling 14 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays.

The Grads incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Gloucester Midget AAA's Gratton stopped 34 shots out of the 38 that he faced.
