K.O. Squad beats Maddies Monsters 8-3 as Dhatt gets hat trick

Parm Dhatt netted a hat trick to lead K.O. Squad over Maddies Monsters, 8-3.

Dhatt's first goal came 1:37 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:01 into the first and at 8:29 into the first.

K.O. Squad's offense rang up 39 shots on Maddies Monsters' net. K.O. Squad's goal total was higher than its season average. K.O. Squad has scored at the pace of 5.2 goals per game during the current campaign. K.O. Squad did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The defensemen of K.O. Squad were also effective in Maddies Monsters' zone, and came away with two goals.

K.O. Squad also got points from Jason Lo, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Andrew Fong, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Loi Truong, who also had one goal and two assists. K.O. Squad also got a goal from Bill Truong as well. Other players who recorded assists for K.O. Squad were Paul Chia, who had three and Kam Dhatt, who had four.

Maddies Monsters got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Maddies Monsters was led by Steve Paco, who tallied two goals. Paco scored the first of his two goals short handed at 11:34 into the first period to make the score 4-1 K.O. Squad. Maddies Monsters played down a man on Neal Moretti's roughing. Paco's next tally short handed made the score 8-3 K.O. Squad with 10:05 left in the second period. David Guo picked up the assist. Yuan Yeh also scored for Maddies Monsters. In addition, Maddies Monsters received assists from Ryan Spolowicz, Alan Lee, and Chris Walkowiak, who contributed one each.

Sukh Cheema rejected 17 shots on goal for K.O. Squad. K.O. Squad registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Kevin Ng made 31 saves for Maddies Monsters on 39 shots. Maddies Monsters incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
