Huge game by Khera boosts Devils over The Moose, 12-5Poirier Forum Wed, Sep 30, 2015 Devils' Rajin Khera had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing two assists in his team's 12-5 win over The Moose. Khera's first goal came 42 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 7:40 into the first, at 17:19 into the first, and at 16:08 into the second.Devils kept The Moose's goalie busy throughout the game, and Francis May made 29 saves on 41 shots. Devils found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Devils has scored at the pace of 7.3 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with five goals. Devils also got points from Kevin Fenwick, who also registered two goals and two assists, Bic Banwait, who also grabbed two goals and six assists to lead the team in points, Brett Sherwood, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Karin Khera, who also tallied two goals and two assists. Devils also got a goal from Sanjay Mahindru as well. More assists for Devils came via David Cowling, who had two. The Moose surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Moose averages 2.3 goals per game. The Moose was helped by Andrew Rehtlane, who registered two goals and one assist. Rehtlane scored the first of his two goals at 4:35 into the first period to make the score 2-1 The Moose. Kevin Blok picked up the assist. Rehtlane's next tally made the score 4-3 Devils with 2:12 left in the first period. Liam Hansen provided the assist.
