The Cornwall Midget AAA Colts had trouble finding ways to stop the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders, which beat Colts, 5-1.

Nepean Midget AAA was sparked by Kyle Kuehni, who racked up one goal and one assist. Kuehni scored on the power play 6:36 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Nepean Midget AAA. The Raiders had gotten the advantage when Cornwall Midget AAA's Ethan Mulhearn was sent off for slashing. Shawn Timlin assisted on the tally.

Nepean Midget AAA forced the Colts goalie Greg Brassard to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Nepean Midget AAA also got points from Zak Karim, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Aidan Harris, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Nepean Midget AAA included Nicholas Domitrovic and Geoff Dempster, who scored one goal each. In addition, Nepean Midget AAA received assists from Robbie Pickard, JJ Boucher, Owen Ledwell, Ethan Rendell-Watson, and Matt Arial, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall Midget AAA's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 10.0 minutes per game the Colts had been spending in the box.

Cornwall Midget AAA was led by Noah Konink, who scored the team's only goal. Konink scored on the power play 7:14 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Nepean Midget AAA. The Colts had taken the advantage when the Raiders' Boucher got sent off for head contact. Samuel Ferland picked up the assist.

Marshall Frappier made 22 saves for Nepean Midget AAA on 23 shots. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Cornwall Midget AAA's Brassard stopped 26 shots out of the 31 that he faced. The Colts registered one goal on three power play opportunities. For Cornwall Midget AAA, Mulhearn was ejected from the game.
