The Cumberland Midget AAA Grads tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by Devin Saumur put Kemptville Midget AAA up 4-2 in the third period, but Cumberland Midget AAA pulled to within one on Alex Robert's tally 19:58 into the third period.

Kemptville Midget AAA also had goals scored by Jarrett Williams, Brady Elder, and Jordan Currie, who scored one goal each. More assists for Kemptville Midget AAA came via Patrick Yates, who had two and John Beaton, Mike Armstrong, and Joel Holtrop, who each chipped in one.

Cumberland Midget AAA also got a goal from Alex Wall as well. In addition, Cumberland Midget AAA received assists from Zakary Rodrigue, who had two and Roman Cannell, Francois Drouin, and Liam Peyton, who contributed one each.

Nick Bond rejected 26 shots on goal for the 73s. Kemptville Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Seth Carter recorded 17 saves for the Grads. Cumberland Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
