Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green defeated the CIHA White Midget AAA White in a shootout 5-4 (2-0 SO).

The Green saw a two-goal lead disappear, but was able to secure the win in a shootout. CIHA Green Midget AAA made the score 4-2 on a goal by Matthew Grouchy at 13:57 in the third period. CIHA White Midget AAA evened things up at 4-4 on a goal by Kenshin Hayashi at 18:54 in the third period.

The Green bested their season scoring average. CIHA Green Midget AAA averages 2.5 goals per game.

CIHA Green Midget AAA also had goals scored by Tyler Grill and Bryson Michel, who each put in one. In addition, CIHA Green Midget AAA received assists from Finch, who had two and Jacob Roberts and Steve Quint, who each chipped in one.

The White put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Green to score on any of their three power plays.

CIHA White Midget AAA also got points from Markus Odermatt, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Pavel Gogolev, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Jared Weber, who had two and Khoi Manchester, Seva Losev, Jeremy Vasquez, and Braeden-Jay Wynne, who contributed one each.

Zachary Kott rejected 26 shots on goal for CIHA Green Midget AAA. The Green incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Olivier Pimpare-Charbonneau recorded 20 saves for CIHA White Midget AAA. The White incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
