A stellar performance between the pipes by Anand Oberoi helped the Nepean Midget AAA Raiders defeat the Cumberland Midget AAA Grads, 4-1.

Nepean Midget AAA was led by Owen Ledwell, who racked up one goal. Ledwell scored 10:23 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Nepean Midget AAA. Matt Arial picked up the assist.

The Raiders' offense rang up 31 shots on Cumberland Midget AAA's net.

Nepean Midget AAA also got points from Paul Larabie, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Arial, who also registered one goal and one assist. Mackenzie White also scored for Nepean Midget AAA. In addition, Nepean Midget AAA received assists from Geoff Dempster and Ryan Kaufman, who each chipped in one and Robbie Pickard and Connor Lacey, who contributed two each.

The Grads' offense operated below their season average. Cumberland Midget AAA averages 3.7 goals per game.

The Grads were led by Alex Robert, who scored the team's only goal. Robert scored on the power play 40 seconds into the third period to make the score 1-1. Tristan Francis assisted on the tally.

Oberoi rejected 26 shots on goal for Nepean Midget AAA. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kai Edmonds made 27 saves for Cumberland Midget AAA on 31 shots. The Grads incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
