The OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16's Yanick Leblanc scored 1:36 into overtime to beat the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green, 4-3 (OT).

OHA U17 Midget AAA got the win with help from a great game by Leblanc, who had one goal and two assists.

The OHA U16 kept CIHA Green Midget AAA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ethan Hunt made 28 saves on 32 shots.

OHA U17 Midget AAA also got points from Matthew Briggs, who also had one goal and one assist. OHA U17 Midget AAA also had goals scored by Curtis Egert and Tim Kobler, who each put in one. In addition, OHA U17 Midget AAA received assists from Andre Guldbrandsen, Sebastien Pugin, and Dylan Coffey, who each chipped in one.

The Green were helped by Matthew Grouchy, who finished with one goal and one assist. Grouchy scored 3:02 into the third period to make the score 3-2 CIHA Green Midget AAA. Gregory Rogers picked up the assist. CIHA Green Midget AAA additionally got points from Rogers, who also registered one goal and one assist and Trevor Finch, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for CIHA Green Midget AAA came via Cameron Pound, James Hounsome, and Cole Burton, who contributed one each.

Tyler Caseley rejected 25 shots on goal for OHA U17 Midget AAA. The OHA U16 incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. CIHA Green Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
