The Cornwall Midget AAA Colts tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Pembroke Midget AAA Lumber Kings held on for a 4-2 victory.

Pembroke Midget AAA made the score 4-1 on a goal by Noah Maika at 14:36 in the second period, and Cornwall Midget AAA got as close as 4-2 when Noah Konink scored 8:20 into the third period.

The Lumber Kings got the win with help from a great game by Brad Richardson, who had one goal and three assists. Richardson scored 11:28 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Pembroke Midget AAA. Maika provided the assist.

The Colts were unable to stop Pembroke Midget AAA from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumber Kings eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Pembroke Midget AAA additionally got points from Maika, who also tallied two goals and two assists and Jared Campitelli, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Pembroke Midget AAA received assists from Jackson Norlock and Patrick Kyte, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall Midget AAA stifled Pembroke Midget AAA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Cornwall Midget AAA also got points from Samuel Ferland, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Cornwall Midget AAA came via Taran Fiacco, Joseph Samson, and Liam MacDonald, who contributed one each.

Darian McTavish made 19 saves for the Lumber Kings on 21 shots. Pembroke Midget AAA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Colts' Grant Craig stopped 28 shots out of the 32 that he faced. Cornwall Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
