Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the CIHA Green Midget AAA Green defeated the Hawkesbury Midget AAA Hawks in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

CIHA Green Midget AAA came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Green trailed 2-1 after a goal by Hawkesbury Midget AAA's Ryan Wells at 11:17 in the second period. CIHA Green Midget AAA knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Gregory Rogers at 1:22 in the third period.

The Green were helped by Matthew Grouchy, who registered one goal. Grouchy scored 14:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CIHA Green Midget AAA. Jace Lis-DAlessandro provided the assist. More assists for CIHA Green Midget AAA came via Cameron Pound and Bryson Michel, who contributed one each.

The Hawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Hawkesbury Midget AAA also got a goal from Nathan Sauve as well. Other players who recorded assists for Hawkesbury Midget AAA were Tyler Boivin, Martin Lavigne, Luke Paquette, and Adam Levesque, who each chipped in one.

Ethan Hunt made 24 saves for CIHA Green Midget AAA on 26 shots. The Green incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Hawkesbury Midget AAA's Alex Labreche stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
