In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Smiths Falls Midget AAA Bears escaped with a 4-3 victory over the CIHA White Midget AAA White.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Matthew Bidin's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Blake Kettyle had a great game for Smiths Falls Midget AAA, netting two goals. Kettyle's tallies came at 12:36 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 2:30 into the second to make the score 2-1 Smiths Falls Midget AAA.

CIHA White Midget AAA was unable to stop the Bears from sending pucks towards the net, and Smiths Falls Midget AAA eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

Smiths Falls Midget AAA also got a goal from Mackenzie Mercier as well. More assists for Smiths Falls Midget AAA came via Ethan Coltart, Brock Boisclair, Sebastien Semerdjiev, Dylan McMahon, Spencer Shahen, and Connor Drost, who each chipped in one.

The White managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CIHA White Midget AAA ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game.

The White were led by Pavel Gogolev, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Gogolev scored 9:48 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Smiths Falls Midget AAA. Semen Der-Arguchintsev assisted on the tally. Others who scored for CIHA White Midget AAA included Markus Odermatt and Seva Losev, who each put in one. In addition, CIHA White Midget AAA received assists from Jared Weber and Braeden-Jay Wynne, who contributed one each.

Alex Zoutis made 24 saves for the Bears on 27 shots. Smiths Falls Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. CIHA White Midget AAA's Jacob Lavergne stopped 27 shots out of the 31 that he faced. The White registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
