Behind a great game by Reece Bolton, who had two goals and two assists, the Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians defeated the OHA U18 Midget AAA OHA U17, 5-2.

Carleton Place Midget AAA excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Carleton Place Midget AAA also got points from Ryland Mosley, who also registered one goal and one assist. Carleton Place Midget AAA also had goals scored by Ryan Bangs and Cameron Scissons, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Carleton Place Midget AAA were Liam Markhauser, who had two and Emile Cyr, Skylar Quartermain, and Ryan Shaw, who each chipped in one.

OHA U18 Midget AAA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

The OHA U17 were helped by Dylan Stacey, who racked up one goal. Stacey scored 1:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OHA U18 Midget AAA. OHA U18 Midget AAA also got a goal from Kyle Foreman as well.

Michael Leach made 20 saves for the Canadians on 22 shots. Carleton Place Midget AAA incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Danick Francoeur recorded 20 saves for OHA U18 Midget AAA.
