The OHA U17 Midget AAA OHA U16 tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the CIHA White Midget AAA White held on for a 2-1 victory.

A goal by Pavel Gogolev put CIHA White Midget AAA up 2-0 in the second period, but OHA U17 Midget AAA pulled to within one on Dylan Coffey's tally 12:28 into the third period.

The White were led by Gogolev, who finished with one goal. Gogolev scored 4:02 into the second period to make the score 2-0 CIHA White Midget AAA. Kenshin Hayashi picked up the assist.

CIHA White Midget AAA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the OHA U16 to score on any of their three power plays.

Semen Der-Arguchintsev also scored for CIHA White Midget AAA. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Khoi Manchester and Seva Losev, who each chipped in one.

In addition, OHA U17 Midget AAA received assists from Matthew Edgecombe and Cameron Roberts, who contributed one each.

Jacob Lavergne made 20 saves for the White on 21 shots. CIHA White Midget AAA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. OHA U17 Midget AAA's Tyler Caseley stopped 15 shots out of the 17 that he faced. The OHA U16 incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
