The Carleton Place Midget AAA Canadians and the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts played 60 tight minutes of hockey, but in the end it was Carleton Place Midget AAA that came away with a 1-0 victory.

The Canadians were led by Marshall, who racked up one goal. Marshall scored 12:11 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Carleton Place Midget AAA. Shaw assisted on the tally.

Carleton Place Midget AAA managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Canadians ended up below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. Carleton Place Midget AAA could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Cornwall Midget AAA did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Colts put an average of 2.2 pucks into the net per game. Cornwall Midget AAA's offense was handcuffed by Carleton Place Midget AAA's defensive play, and the Colts managed only nine shots on goal during the game.

Chris Cuglietta recorded nine saves for the Canadians. Carleton Place Midget AAA registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Cornwall Midget AAA's Greg Brassard stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Colts incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
