The CIHA White Midget AAA White survived a determined comeback attempt by the Cornwall Midget AAA Colts on the way to a 2-1 win.

CIHA White Midget AAA made the score 2-0 on a goal by Kyle Preston at 4:39 in the first period, and Cornwall Midget AAA got as close as 2-1 when Ryan Vipond scored 8:31 into the third period.

The White were led by goalie Jacob Lavergne, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. Lavergne certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.68 entering the contest.

CIHA White Midget AAA avoided man-down situations, finishing with one major for 15 minutes in penalty time. The total was was till above the White's average of 8.0 minutes in penalty time per game.

CIHA White Midget AAA also got points from Pavel Gogolev, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for CIHA White Midget AAA came via Seva Losev, who had one and Semen Der-Arguchintsev, who had two.

In addition, Cornwall Midget AAA received assists from Samuel Ferland and Ryan Lamer, who each chipped in one.

CIHA White Midget AAA registered one goal on two power play opportunities. The White ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Sungwon Lee was ejected from the game. Grant Craig made 27 saves for the Colts on 29 shots. Cornwall Midget AAA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
