Ottawa Midget AAA boosted by Andree's play in net, beats Kemptville Midget AAA 4-1

The Ottawa Midget AAA Senators relied on the sparkling performance of Cedrick Andree in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Kemptville Midget AAA 73s.

Ottawa Midget AAA was led by Griffin McGregor, who registered one goal and one assist. McGregor scored on the power play 3:54 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Ottawa Midget AAA. The Senators had gotten the advantage when Kemptville Midget AAA's Owen Scott was sent off for boarding. Adrien Bisson picked up the assist.

Ottawa Midget AAA stifled the 73s' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Ottawa Midget AAA also got points from Tyler Newell, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Ottawa Midget AAA included Daniel Lambert and Nicholas Raponi de Roia, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Ottawa Midget AAA were Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Danny Johnson, and Alderic Denis, who each chipped in one.

Kemptville Midget AAA forced the Senators goalie Andree to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

The 73s were led by Alex Kerlovich, who scored the team's only goal. Kerlovich scored 3:24 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Brady Elder provided the assist.

Ottawa Midget AAA's Andree stopped 33 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Senators incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jacob Dioszeghy made 22 saves for Kemptville Midget AAA on 26 shots. The 73s incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
